Dr. Amir Hamza is a Tenured Associate Professor of Mechatronics Engineering at NUST and the visionary founder of RoboMak Pvt Ltd, a cutting-edge technology company transforming ideas into reality through advanced prototyping, robotics, and intelligent manufacturing solutions. With over a decade of experience in academia, R&D, and innovation leadership, Dr. Hamza bridges the gap between research and industry by developing practical, high-impact engineering solutions. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, over 35 peer-reviewed publications, multiple international patents, and has led funded projects in collaborative robotics, smart materials, additive manufacturing, and automation. Under his leadership, RoboMak empowers startups, researchers, and industries with rapid design, product development, and hands-on training services, driving the future of smart manufacturing in Pakistan and beyond

Dr. Amir Hamza

Founder and CEO, RoboMak Pvt Ltd

Umar Shahbaz Khan (Member, IEEE) received the bachelor’s degree in mechatronics engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Liverpool, U.K., in 2010. He is currently the Central Project Director of the National Center of Robotics and Automation (NCRA).
