He is currently serving as an Associate Professor at NUST College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Umar Shahbaz Khan (Member, IEEE) received the bachelor’s degree in mechatronics engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Liverpool, U.K., in 2010. He is currently the Central Project Director of the National Center of Robotics and Automation (NCRA).
